Frog Lip Character Analysis

Frog Lip is a member of Dan, Roy, and Ed Suggs’s criminal gang. He is a Black man, he rides a very recognizable white horse, and he’s possibly the best shot Jake Spoon has ever seen. Frog Lip doesn’t talk much, but he doesn’t need to, since his size and skill render him intimidating. He is mortally wounded in the shootout that happens when he, Jake, and the Suggs brothers try to steal Wilbarger’s horses; Ed Suggs shoots him to put him out of his misery faster.
