Analysis
In March of 1935, Billie Jo wakes up to a significant amount of snow on the ground. She has a hard time believing what she is seeing and has to double-check to make sure it is real.
March is quite late in the year for snow to fall in the Panhandle, especially given the time period. Nonetheless, it is a welcome sight that is sure to help the soil.
