Fabrizzio betrays Michael to the Corleone Family’s enemies, which leads to Apollonia’s death in a car bomb explosion intended for Michael. Fabrizzio later moves to Buffalo, New York, where he operates a pizza parlor under a different name. When Michael learns of his location, he has Fabrizzio killed.
