Roucolle the Miser Character Analysis

Orwell relates the story of Rocoulle’s sad end after a cocaine deal gone wrong as an illustration of the precarious nature of the existence of the eccentrics who live in the Latin Quarter. Famously thrifty, he loses all his money, as well as his will to live, in the cocaine deal.
