Analysis
That evening while Craig is in the activity lounge with the others, Bobby comes in and says he passed his interview. Bobby’s success makes Craig more hopeful about his own situation. During a card game with Bobby, Humble, the Professor, Ebony, and Armelio, some of them get into a heated argument. Humble gets particularly angry, but Craig tries not to get involved.
Bobby’s success at his interview shows not only how being in the hospital can help people to improve their condition—it also points to how Craig himself has the power to help people around him (since he lent his shirt to Bobby for the interview).
