Paul’s Mother Character Analysis

Paul’s mother is the mother of Paul Sheldon. She is married to Paul’s father. On a trip to the zoo when Paul was young, she called him derogatory names after he cried over a miserable bird longing for its home in Africa. Paul’s mother used to tell the neighbors about his vivid imagination, and he sometimes hears her voice in his head while trapped in Annie’s house.
