Minor Characters
Jewel
Jewel is a unicorn who is best friends with Tirian. Jewel is a noble beast who will do anything to protect his friends. He is also a fierce opponent in battle. Like all of Tirian’s friends, Jewel ends up in Aslan’s eternal realm following the last battle.
Emeth
Emeth is a Calormene man who is a faithful follower of Tash. He becomes critical of the Calormene mission when he learns that they intend to take Narnia via deceptive means. Ultimately, Aslan allows Emeth into his eternal paradise because Emeth’s intentions have always been pure.
Peter Pevensie
Peter Pevensie—also known as High King Peter—is one of the seven great Narnian kings and queens. He acts as the leader of Pevensie children and seals the door to Aslan’s eternal realm using the golden key.
Lucy Pevensie
Lucy Pevensie is one of the seven great Narnian kings and queens. She is noted for her compassion, and she weeps at the sight of Narnia’s destruction.
Susan Pevensie
Susan Pevensie is the only Pevensie child who does not appear in the book, except by name. Though a former Narnian queen, Susan now pretends that Narnia is all make believe nonsense for children and does not help everyone else when they learn Narnia is in danger.
Edmund Pevensie
Edmund is one of one of the seven great Narnian kings and queens. Like Lucy and Peter, he springs into action when he learns Narnia is in trouble.
The Professor/Lord Digory
The Professor is a character who first appears in
The Magician’s Nephew and witnesses the founding of Narnia. Here, he serves as one of Narnia’s seven great kings and queens.
Aunt Polly/Lady Polly
Aunt Polly is a character who first appears in
The Magician’s Nephew and witnesses the founding of Narnia. Here, she serves as one of Narnia’s seven great kings and queens.
Poggin
Poggin is a dwarf who abandons his fellow dwarves to fight with Tirian in the last battle of Narnia.
Father Time
Father Time is a giant who awakens during Narnia’s final days. He blows a giant horn, which causes the stars to fall from the sky.
The White Witch
The White Witch is the antagonist of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Her terrible reign over Narnia is briefly mentioned in a discussion of Narnia’s history.
Fledge
Fledge is the first flying horse in Narnia, who appears in several entries in the series. He is spotted briefly in Aslan’s paradise.
Puddleglum
Puddleglum is a Marsh-wiggle who briefly appears in
Aslan’s paradise.

Bree the Horse
Bree the horse is a character who first appeared in
The Horse and His Boy, the fifth Narnia novel. Bree appears briefly in
Aslan’s paradise.
Tumnus
Tumnus is a fawn who befriends Lucy in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. He and Lucy reunite in Aslan’s paradise.
Tashlan
Rishda and Shift falsely claim that Aslan and Tash are the same deity. To make this point, they begin calling the made up deity Tashlan.
Rilian
Rilian is a former king of Narnia with whom
Jill and
Eustace have journeyed in the past. Their adventures are detailed in
The Silver Chair.
Roonwit
Roonwit is a centaur who dies trying to recruit reinforcements for Tirian.
Tisroc
Tisroc is the Calormene king. He is a brutal leader who will happily resort to deception.
Farsight
Farsight is an eagle who fights alongside Tirian in the last battle of Narnia.
Griffle
Griffle leads the dwarves in the last battle of Narnia.
Erlian
Erlian is Tirian’s father, a former king of Narnia.
