Kottos, Briareos, and Gyges Character Analysis

These three mighty gods are the sons of Heaven and Earth. Because of their extreme strength and ferocity, Kronos imprisons them so that they don’t threaten his rule. Zeus later frees them, and they lend their forces to his war against his father, helping to turn the tide and win the battle for the Olympians. When Zeus later imprisons the other Titans are imprisoned in Tartarus, these three gods stand guard to make sure that the Titans do not escape.
