Sheldon Lloyd is Benjamin’s business partner in the novel-within-the-novel Bonds. Sheldon meets Helen in Europe and begins to informally court her before arranging for Catherine and Helen to travel back to the U.S. When they’re all back in New York, Sheldon invites Helen to a party where she meets Benjamin for the first time. Benjamin and Helen’s romantic relationship begins not long after that party.
