Nausea: Chapter 27: Night Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
Feeling that he has no reason to remain in Bouville after giving up his research on Rollebon, Roquentin resolves to move to Paris after his visit to Anny.
The ease with which Roquentin makes this decision indicates his wealth as well as his lack of meaningful ties to Bouville, the city he’s lived in for a while now. Still, Roquentin is making a decision, even if he makes it in order to blindly follow the hope offered by Anny’s letter.
