Phil Character Analysis

Phil is Mom’s new husband and a minor-league baseball player. Bella moves to Forks so that Mom can spend more time with Phil, who travels often for away games. He never appears in the novel, but Bella implies that Phil will be able to keep scatterbrained Mom from going hungry or failing to pay bills.
