One of Trevor and Sizwe’s friends and their crew’s star dancer, whom Trevor compares to “a jellyfish if it could walk on land.” Hitler becomes a local celebrity, although his name gets the group into some trouble when they perform at a private Jewish school in the suburbs. Since South Africans were forced to choose European names for their children in addition to names in their native languages, Trevor explains, many randomly picked the names of strongmen from history (like Hitler and Mussolini) without ever learning the real history behind those names.
