The Da Vinci Code: Chapter 73 Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
Back in France, Fache breaks down the air traffic controller’s door at the private airfield where Teabing keeps his jet. The man initially tries to protect Teabing’s privacy, but Fache threatens to arrest him. The controller tells Fache that Teabing usually flies to an airport in Kent for his treatments. He doesn’t know if Teabing had other passengers on his most recent flight. Fache orders his agents to contact Kent local police and have them surround the plane until he gets there.
Fache utilizes violence and threats to get what he wants, and his authority overrides Teabing’s substantial influence.
